RFA 2025

The SPLIT Council is announcing the SPLIT 2025 RFA competition for SPLIT members and SPLIT sites. There will be funding available to support research, quality improvement, education, advocacy and innovative ideas that will serve to advance the mission of SPLIT.

Application Deadline:
January 13, 2025.

Submit to Emmes by December 1st, 2024, if SPLIT Registry data or Emmes support are required

The SPLIT Council is providing up to $10,000 per proposal to support project(s) that advance SPLIT’s mission in the areas of research, quality improvement, education, or patient advocacy.


Eligibility
  1. One of the lead investigator(s) is a current individual member of SPLIT.
  2. One of the lead investigator(s) is at a SPLIT Site.
  3. Proposal must be aligned with at least one of the components of SPLIT’s mission including research, quality improvement, education, or patient advocacy.
For investigators who are not at a SPLIT site, please contact Dr. Valentino (Research Chair) and Dr. Wadhwani (Research Vice Chair) to identify opportunities for collaboration with a SPLIT site.
Requirements
  1. Complete the Ancillary Study Proposal Form
  2. If SPLIT Registry Data will be utilized, please highlight the corresponding variables on the SPLIT Registry Case Report Forms (CRFs)

Submission Steps
  1. If SPLIT Registry data or Emmes resources are to be utilized, please FIRST submit the forms to: splitproposal@emmes.com by December 1st, 2024 to discuss your needs and any estimated costs. If you have any additional questions, please contact splitproposal@emmes.com prior to the submission deadline.
  2. Forms should be submitted to: katie.tait@tts.org; pamela.valentino@seattlechildrens.org; sharad.wadhwani@ucsf.edu .

Evaluation and Feedback

Proposals will be reviewed using the NIH proposal review criteria (significance, investigator experience, innovation, approach, and environment).

The final decision regarding funding will be made by the SPLIT Research Committee and SPLIT Council in April 2025, for announcement at the SPLIT Annual Meeting in May 2025.
