Personal information is collected through congress registration, abstract submission and inquiry processes and through other services or procedures that the IPTA may implement from time to time. - To gain access to conference registration and other personalized features on the IPTA website, users are asked to register and provide limited personal information. This information is submitted voluntarily. If you do not wish for us to have your personal information, please do not provide it.

- IPTA Services and Products.
- Generally, IPTA uses data collected to improve its own web content; to identify popular areas of the website; to respond to visitor and member needs, interests and preferences and to develop new products and services.

- On occasion, the IPTA sells conference registrant’s names and addresses in hard copy, label format for one-time use only to approved requesters. The personal information that we may provide to third parties may include names and addresses provided by the members, but will not include phone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses or demographic information. Users may request that IPTA refrain from disclosing their information to third parties through an opt-out box that will appear on each form on which a user provides information. - Credit Card Information:
- IPTA does not disclose credit card information provided by its members and customers except to third parties that assist with processing credit card purchases. When and customers choose to pay by using their credit cards, IPTA submits the information needed to obtain payment to the appropriate clearinghouse.
- Non-Personally Identifiable Information:
- IPTA collects non-personally identifiable, aggregate information from visitors to our website. This non-personally identifiable information includes but is not limited to the number of hits per page, cookies, referrers, IP address, or other ‘environmental’ variables. The IPTA does not link non-personally identifiable information with personally identifiable information. Aggregate data are only used for internal and marketing purposes and do not provide any personally identifiable information.
