Applications for the 2025 Outreach Program are open!

The mission of the IPTA Outreach Committee is to facilitate access for children with end-stage organ failure to safe, ethical, and high-quality solid organ transplantation worldwide, particularly in less medically developed areas. Outreach Committee tools to achieve this mission include the Outreach Program for support of individual centers, as well as developing Outreach Projects with a broader scope.

The aim of the Outreach Program is to contribute to new pediatric transplant center development, but also to help existing centers seeking to expand their activity, or improve quality of transplant services. We request that interested paired centres complete the following application.

Please note that the principal applicant must reside in an LMIC country, and be an IPTA member in good standing. Please go to www.tts.org/ipta-members-area/ipta-join to join IPTA or to pay your Dues.

We also require that all applicants or their institutions be signed up to the Declaration of Istanbul. Please go to www.declarationofistanbul.org to sign up. To apply as an individual, click here to sign the DICG Individual Commitment Form. Please note that if these criteria are not met, your application will not be valid.

If you are a centre that is interested in applying but does not have a centre to pair with, or if you are a centre that would like to act as a mentoring centre, please contact Katie Tait at katie.tait@tts.org.

Applications will close on 31st July 2025.

Application Requirements:

Complete Survey - the Survey will require you to attach the following documents:
  • Letter of Support from Applicant Centre
  • Letter of Support from Sponsor Centre (if applicant has identified one)
  • Proposed Budget
Please contact Katie Tait, IPTA Section Manager at TTS at katie.tait@tts.org if you have any questions.

Winning Pairs for 2024!

The Outreach Program awards support the growth of pediatric transplant in low resource settings. This is accomplished through partnerships between an emerging transplant centre and a supporting centre. We wish them the best of luck in their endeavours!

We welcome hearing from those who are interested in becoming mentors for the Fellowship or being the key liaison for a supporting centre as part of the Program.
