Germaine Wong is a transplant nephrologist, Director of the Western Renal Service at Westmead Hospital, and Professor of Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Sydney, Australia. Her main area of research interests include: transplant epidemiology, cancer and chronic kidney disease, social ethics in organ donation and allocation, decision analytical modelling, health economics, population health research, and quality of life studies in patients kidney transplants.

Macey Levan, JD, PhD, an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Nursing at
Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Director of Policy and External Affairs for
the <100-member research group, The Epidemiology Research Group in Organ
Transplantation, Baltimore, MD, USA. Dr. Levan is a former member of the Board of
Directors, the Executive Committee, the Nominating Committee, the Living Donor
Committee, the Kidney Transplantation Committee, and is currently a member of the
Data Advisory Committee for the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network
(OPTN) and the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS). She is the Social Media
Editor for Transplantation, a member of the American Society for Transplant Surgeons
Legislative and Regulatory Committee and has a research portfolio funded by the NIH
and the Department of Defense.

Amanda Dominello Presenter

Bio
Amanda Dominello is a living kidney donor and primary carer of an adolescent with chronic kidney disease. She is a consumer representative at the Centre for Kidney Research at The Children’s Hospital Westmead and is involved in research projects that address the treatment and care of people with kidney disease. Amanda is a public health researcher with experience in public health advocacy, tobacco control, health promotion, implementation science and health policy. She works for a not-for-profit organisation that engages with governments, health organisations and researchers to analyse policy problems and find the best evidence-based solutions. She is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Menzies Centre for Health Policy, University of Sydney.

Krista Lentine, MD, PhD is Medical Director of Living Donation, Co-Director of Clinical Research, and Mid-America Transplant/Jane A. Beckman Endowed Chair in Transplantation at Saint Louis University. Krista served on the OPTN/UNOS Living Donor Committee (7 years, including chair term) and the OPTN/UNOS Policy Oversight Committee. She co-chaired a KDIGO work group on Living Donor Evaluation and Care and is first author of the guideline publication. Krista is current Chair of the Living Donor Community of Practice, Senior Staff of the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR), and part of the National Living Donor Assistance Act (NLDAC) Advisory Group. She is a member of the ASN Policy and Advocacy Committee, and serves on multiple AST, AHA, and KDIGO work groups related to transplant patient care. She publishes actively on topics related to organ donation, outcomes and health economics. Krista is a TTS member and is honored to be part of this important session.
